Dominican Republic

A weekend in the Dominican Republic is a great way to forget the chilly October weather of Provo, at least for a little while that is. Honestly though, it was an exciting trip to Puerto Plata, DR... a chance to get a little too much sun, lay out by the beach, check out some sweet waterfalls, drink pina coladas and bahama mama's (virgin of course), and finish up some business investments.

Sports Broadcasting

I've been student teaching at Wasatch High in Heber, UT. Lacie Jensen and I went up to the Rice Eccles Stadium with two students to broadcast the WHS vs Park City girls soccer game and then got to watch the Real vs LA Galaxy soccer game, all from the press boxes. Ozzy Torres, who has been in a few of my classes, along with Ben did a great job broadcasting the game; I'm impressed with the opportunities that these students are able to experience at Wasatch High School.
